The Gradebook in a course displays all current grades for all course assignments. You can also view scoring details, comments, and rubrics. If your instructor is using multiple grading periods, you can also filter grades by grading period.

Some details on the Grades page, such as scoring details and the total grade, may be restricted in your course.
How does Canvas differ from Blackboard?
- From the student perspective, the Canvas gradebook is very similar to Blackboard
- What-If Grades allow students to calculate their total grade by entering hypothetical grades for assignments. Only students can enter and view What-If scores.
